BOOKING CONDITIONS

1. DEPOSIT

A deposit of £50 per child, per week, should be sent with the booking form. We will then confirm your booking. Payment of the deposit is regarded as your acceptance of the Booking Conditions.

2. BALANCE OF PAYMENT

The balance of payment on all bookings is payable not later than 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. The exact date when payment is due is given on the Booking Confirmation. If payment is not made by not made by the due date, we reserve the right to advise you of the cacellation of your booking and to make a cancellation charge at the appropiate rate.

3. CANCELLATION

If have to cancel your holiday this must be done in writing. The date of effective cancellations will be the date post marked. Cancellations are subject to the following charges.

More than 6 weeks before commencement date: Loss of deposit only.

6 weeks to 4 weeks: 30% of holiday price.
4 weeks to 2 weeks: 60% of holiday price.

Less than 2 weeks before: 60% of total holiday price.

On or after holiday commencement date: 100% of total holiday price.

Your holiday insurance may cover cost of cancellation.

4. SWIMMING ABILITY

Children taking part in canoeing must be able to swim 50 metres. There are alternative activites for non swimmers.

5. LIABILITY

We do not accept liability for the personal injury or the death of any participant, nor for any damage or loss resulting therefrom unless caused by the proven negligence of RCA Holidays Ltd or its servants. We do not accept responsibility for losses or addtional expenses due to sickness, weather, strikes, riots, quarantine, war or any other cause.

6. RIGHT OF EXCLUSION

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to advise RCA Holidays Ltd in advance of any disabilities, social or behaviourial problems that a youngster currently has or has recently experienced. We reserve the right to decline a booking or exclude any person if in our opinion that person is not compatible with the general enjoyment and well being of the holiday. Collection would be entirely at the expense of the parent or gaurdian, to whom any costs for damage would also be charged.

7. PERSONAL PROPERTY

Your personal property, including baggage, is your own responsibility all all times, unless any loss or damage is due to our negligence or failure to carry out our responsibility. Please note that expensive watches, jewellery or other valuable items should not be brought on an adventure holiday.

8. ALTERATIONS AND AMENDMENTS

Arrangements outlined in the holiday literature are given in good faith at the time of going to press. However RCA Holidays Ltd reserves the right to alter the programme if unforeseen circumstances arise. Programmes may need to be varied to meet changing weather conditions and other operational considerations. Some building work may be taking place but this should not affect the running of activities and safety rules will be in place.
